Inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer “ICAP DUO 7400” has been installed and launched in the Bureau. The ICAP DUO 7400 Spectrometer provides fast and efficient determination of the complete elemental composition of various samples. The device is equipped with dual plasma vision, which allows to detect at least 70 elements simultaneously (range of detection 1 ppb). The ICAP DUO 7400 Spectrometer is equipped with a special GE IsoMist cooled spray chamber for handling organic samples. By the method of direct scattering, the kit enables the identification of a full range of metals in motor and aviation oils, jet fuels, middle distillates, crude oil, used and new oils, which is especially important for organic solvents and flammable petroleum products.
