​LEPL - Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau expresses its condolences to families of soldiers fallen in Babushera and Gumista, who heroically fought for the territorial integrity of Georgia, and honors their memory. 

Experts from the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau participated in the CODIS Customer Conference which was held on November 17-19 in the US, Oklahoma, Oklahoma. Over 500 participants from around the world attended the conference. The participants shared experience of working with the data-base.

On November 19, 2014, chief expert of the US Investigative Bureau, Kris Sperry delivered a training for the Forensic Medicine Department of the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau. The training was organized by the US Embassy of Georgia (INL Program).  Interns and residents of the Tbilisi State Medical School participated in the training together with the Bureau experts. 

​On November 12, 2014, Forensic Medicine Department of the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau hosted a working group from Armenia within the framework of the study visit, which envisaged experience sharing between Georgian and Armenian colleagues. The visit focused on gaining experience in the field of exhumation. The Armenian colleagues had an opportunity to get acquainted with the modernly equipped laps of the Department and also meet with the representatives of Argentinian group and the   International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRD).
