The Bureau has acquired a Ballistic Examination Complex

In April, 2014, LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau has acquired a Ballistic Examination Complex – DRELLO. 

The equipment is used to test firearms and ammunition and identify their indicators/characteristics. 
The equipment will provide an opportunity to examine and test faulty weapons from distance by a remote control panel and secure the safety of experts. 
At the same time, the equipment makes it possible to conduct a thorough examination of the ammunitions, including the evaluation of the bullet speed.

LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau announces a Tender on Corporate Banking Service.
1. Eligibility Criteria:
1.1 A bank must be ranked B (as minimum) by the Global Rating Agency Standard & Poor (S&P), Fitch Ratings or Moody’s;
1.2 Bank must not be subjected to the liquidation, bankruptcy or sanitation;
1.3 Bank property should not be subjected to sequestration (in such occurrence, the selection committee maintains a right to disqualify the candidate based on this and other impartial factors)

On April 8, 2014, Head of the Forensic Information Technology and Computer Examination Department of the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau and the Administrator of the same Department, Zurab Kupreishvili participate in the International Conference.

In April 2014, LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau hosted a group of students and offered practical training in its laboratories. 

Within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Bureau and Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, MA students of the Law faculty have an opportunity to be trained in the Bureau.
