On September 24-26, 2014, expert of the Forensic Criminalistics Department, Besik Nozadze and Quality Manager, Ucha Margvelashvili from the National Forensics Bureau participated in the 14th meeting of the ENFSI working group on finger prints. The meeting was organized in Oslo, Norway.

On 16-25 September, 2014, Head of the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau, Giorgi Tvauri and Head of the Forensics IT Department, Roland Makhmudov participated in the sixth International Conference on Cyber Security. The Conference was organized by The University of New Haven and European Alliance for Innovations (EAI) in United States of America. 

On September 12, 2014, Head of the Administration of the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau, Tamar Melashvili met with the winning students of the internship call. 20 students holding BA and MA degrees were selected based on a fair competition. The students will have an opportunity to work along highly qualified experts, gain practical knowledge and develop their professional skills throughout the year.

​In August of 2014, LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau hosted a forensics delegation from Armenia, led by Mr. Patrakan Voskanyan. The visit was supported by the US Embassy (INL).
