November 4 –Bureau Celebrates the Forensics Day

On November 4, 2015 LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau celebrates the Forensics Day. November 4 is marked annually and has become a tradition within the Bureau. On this Day, the Bureau awards successful experts nominated according to the performed work throughout the year. 

High qualification of its experts and modern standards are the requirements that the experts comply in their daily performance throughout the year. 
More than 500 varieties of examinations, accessible tariffs, modern equipment, qualified staff and what’s most important, compliance with International Standard – these are the key principles rooted in the work of the Bureau

Experts of the Bureau participate in International Conference

On 21-23 October, 2015 Oil Expertise Unit of the Forensic Chemical-Narcotics Department of the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau participated in the International Conference “Modern Materials and Technologies” organized at the Radisson Blue Iveria.  Nino Kobaladze, PHD in Chemical Science, Expert presented the research - "Disposal of waste rubber tectonic goods (used tires) - through low-temperature pyrolysis and study of obtained products” at the Conference. The presented topic was in line with modern challenges and argued that used tires can be transformed into fuel/oil through eco-friendly methods, which is highly demanded on market. 


Experts of the Bureau participate in International Conference

On 7-11 September, 2015, Papuna Menabdishvili, Academician, Expert of the Engineering Department of the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau participated in the 13th International Science Conference as an invited speaker in Poltava, Ukraine.

The Conference focused on innovative technologies of life cycle of transportation, residential and industrial facilities.
Expert of the Bureau, Papuna Menabdishvili delivered a presentation on the research about the impact of deepening piles on the sustainability of the slope.

International IT Expert visits the Bureau

In August 2015, Roland Makhmudov, Head of the Information Technology and Computer Examination Department of the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau met with the International Expert Peka Asikainen. 

The expert visited Georgia within the framework of the Twinning Project, “Investigative Service Capacity Building of the Ministry of Finance”, financed by the EU. 
During the meeting, the sides touched upon the innovations introduced in the Bureau and the future development of technologies.
