Lawyer by profession, doctor of International Relations, he graduated from the Faculty of Law of Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University. He started his career in 2003 as the head of the legal department of the newspaper "Completely Non-Secret".
In 2004-2005 he worked as an investigator at the Batumi District Prosecutor's Office. In 2005-2006 he served as a senior investigator at the Adjara Prosecutor's Office. In 2007 he continued his career as an assistant to the Deputy Head of Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau. In 2007-2014 he was the Head of Adjara Regional Expertise Department. Since 2014 he has been the Deputy Head of the Bureau, Head of the Forensic Criminalistics Department.
