LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau successfully passed the re-accreditation in 2021 and obtained the ISO 17025: 2017/2018 quality certificate.
The Bureau obtained its first accreditaion in accordance with ISO 17025 in August 2013. According to the accreditation procedures, the accreditation is valid for a period of 4 years, while the National Accreditation Center assessors conduct the annual quality monitoring at the Bureau which verifies compliance with the standard of the areas accredited.
The National Forensic Bureau is equipped with advanced laboratories in line with international standards. Since 2013, the Bureau has been a full member of ENFSI, the European Network of Forensic Institutions, the most authoritative international organization in the field of forensic science.
More than 500 types of forensic examinations in traditional and new areas are performed by 300 qualified experts at the Bureau.
