Exhibition of IT technologies in Amsterdam

On 7-10 August, 2014, Head of the Forensic IT Department of the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau, Roland Makhmudov participated in the exhibition of IT technologies in Amsterdam, which is annually organized by CISCO Systems and GREENNET. Leading IT specialists from across the world regularly participate in the exhibition. 

Latest technological novelties and ultra-modern IT equipment were exhibited during the three days of exhibition.
LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau operates a modernly equipped IT laboratory, which offers unique services to its customers across the region. 

Representatives of Polish Ministry of Interior visit the Bureau

On August 5, 2014, representatives of Polish Ministry of Interior visited LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau. The visit was organized within the framework of the exchange program of European Union agency – Law enforcement Training which aims at securing safety of EU member states and their citizens. The visit aimed at sharing experience in combating the Cyber Crime. 

Expert of the Forensic IT Department of the Bureau met with the visiting experts and made presentation on Cyber Crime, and informed about the novelties and ongoing projects of the Bureau. 

National Forensics Bureau offers internships to young professionals

LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau launches a unified program for internships from September 2012. At the end of the year, selected interns will be offered employment opportunities at the Bureau. 

Corresponding information about the internship and requested criteria will be available at www.hr.gov.ge on July 15 of the current year. Interested individuals, who qualify the criteria of the Bureau, will be able to participate in the program.

Qualification Test

In July 2014, Food and Tobacco Products, Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Beverages Examination Unit received qualification test results. Experts of the Food laboratory examined three different samples and identified micro-organisms. 

Within the framework of the test, the participating experts of the Bureau also identified five different micro-organisms in a sample of the drinking water and registered their quantity. 
More than 100 laboratories from across the world participated in the given qualification test, which was organized by support of the National Food Agency and Swedish National Food Agency.
