Mamuka Jangulashvili is a lawyer by profession, he graduated from the Faculty of Law of Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University. He started his career in 2005, as an investigator of Tbilisi Main Unit of the Financial Investigation Department of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.

From 2006 to 2021 he continued his professional development in the investigation department of Ministry of Finance of Georgia, where he held various positions, including the Head of the “Geguti” customs checkpoint of Revenue Service in 2009, the Head of State Control and Information Processing Division of the Poti Regional center in 2010-2011, the Head of the customs checkpoint "Poti” and “Kulevi” ports and Poti Free Industrial Zone of the Customs Department of Revenue Service, and later he became the Head of the customs checkpoint of “Sarpi“.

In 2013-2015 he held the position of Deputy Head of the Division for Combating Customs Rules Violations of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia. From 2015 he was the Head of the Tax Monitoring Department of the Revenue Service and successfully carried on his professional activity as Head of the Customs Department of the Revenue Service form 2018 to 2021. Since March 2021, Mamuka Jangulashvili became the Head of the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau.
