​In May 2015, Food and Tobacco Products, Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Beverages Examination Unit of the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau participated in a qualification test, organized by the National Institute of Great Britain.  LGC is an independent organization that conducts more than 40 types of inter-laboratory tests worldwide.

​DNA Laboratory -accredited by ISO17025 – of the Forensic Biology Department of Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau, participated in two international qualification tests (external audit): forensic DNA typing in the year 2014. 

On May 19, 2015 Head of the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau Giorgi Tvauri hosted Heads of US Law enforcement and Forensic agencies, State Georgia, the representatives of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) of the 

​In April-May 2015, Head of the Forensic Biology Department of Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau, Nino Kochiashvili was invited to CODIS (DNA-Database) Conference and ENFSI DNA working group meeting in Denmark. ENFSI - European Network of Forensic Science Institutions monitors laboratories of its member forensic institutions from various countries of Europe.
