On 18 October 2021, Bela Gabitashvili, Head of the Quality Control and International Relations Department, Bureau, and Tamar Aptsiauri, Head of the Food, Tobacco, Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Beverages Examination Unit, participated in the Global Quality and Standards Program (GQSP) organized by the Georgian Association of Laboratories.
The conference focused on "Strengthening the Conformity Assessment for the Fruit and Vegetable Value Chain", where participants discussed the achievements of expert laboratories in Georgia, their plans and strengthening of both local and international laboratory testing.
The participants of the online meeting also got acquainted with the news and challenges initiated by international partners and members of the organization.
LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau actively participates in international conferences and professional meetings on annual basis which ensures the introduction of modern research methods and innovations in the Bureau.
