On 25 July 2022, the statement of Post Factum show on Mtavari TV channel that the
body of the deceased cameraman, Lexo Lashkarava was brought into the Bureau 1 hour and 15 minutes late is not true.
TV Pirveli deceased cameraman Lekso Lashkarava was brought into the Bureau on 11:18 a.m. 11 July 2021 and was registered in accordance with relevant procedures.
Footage broadcast live by one of the TV stations shows that the body of Lexo Lashkarava was placed in a specialized car at around 11:00 a.m. Therefore, the body was taken to the bureau few minutes later, as evidenced by camera footage, as well as a corresponding protocol. A few journalists, who were reporting the case of the deceased cameraman from the vicinity of the Forensic Medical Examination Department, were immediately informed about this fact by the Bureau Press Center.
It is unfortunate that incorrect information was spread by a Post Factum journalist, which is insulting and damaging to the activities and experts of the Bureau.
