In order to provide accurate information to public and not to mislead it, Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau is issuing a statement regarding the conclusion published by the State Audit Office:
Bureau employs 453 employees. The total amount of allowances paid to employees by the Bureau in 2018-2019 amounted to 526,038 GEL, which is an average of 21,000 GEL per month.
The above-mentioned allowances were paid to employees due to the large volume or special complexity of the work performed by them or overtime, for which documentation has been drawn up in accordance with the rules in force in the Bureau.
However, the State Audit Office, in its “Compliance Audit Conclusion” of October 21, 2020, issued a recommendation to further detail the procedure for issuing the supplement, which has already been taken into account by the Bureau.
It is also worth noting that the Bureau is a legal entity of public law and accordingly has its own revenues.
In 2018-2019, the Bureau’s own, non-budgetary revenues amounted to 16,678,000 GEL and 15,725,000 GEL, from which the supplement was issued.
