On January 23, 2019, Deputy Head of the EU funded project “Support to the Fight against Organised Crime” Asen Yanchev was hosted by deputy head of LEPL - Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau Giorgi MurvanidzeAsen Yanayeev visited laboratories of the Bureau equipped with ultra-modern technologies, got acquainted with introduced innovations and the specification of the functioning of the Bureau. Within the frame of cooperation EU representative expressed readiness to support the Bureaus experts in international trainings programs.
The Bureau is a leading forensic organization in the region, which is the full member of the European Network of Forensic Science Institutes ENFSI, the most authoritative international forensic organization in Europe.
More than 500 types of expertise are carried out in the Bureau, in line with the international standard ISO /IEC 17025. The implemented system is the guarantee of high quality examination results, one of the main principles for the customers trust.
