IIS submitted an unknown sample of engine oil, which was determined by ISO 17025 accredited parameters specified in the international standards: acid and base number by potentiometric, color, density, flash point in open and closed cups, foam tendency/ stability, kinematic viscosity at 40/100C, viscosity index, apparent viscosity at -30C, pour point.
The Bureau received highest evaluation in the concluded results. Hence, Oil Laboratory of the Bureau was granted a Certificate of Excellence. The success of the tests is a result of modernized research methods implemented in the Bureau’s in line with the international standards and high qualification of the Bureau experts.
