ImageForensic Chemical-Toxicology Examination Unit of LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau annually participates in international tests organized by European Network of Forensic Science Institutes (ENFSI) and United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), and maintains the leading positions among top laboratories across the world.  
In January 2017, 89 laboratories of 44 countries submitted results within the framework of the international test organized by UNODC. The test aimed at evaluating credibility of laboratories internationally. 
UNODC test implied identifying qualitative and quantitative content of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances in lyophilized bio-specimens of unknown composition.
ICE 2016 2round Summary Report Biological Specimens, accessible on UNODC web page, reads that the Forensic Chemical-Toxicology Unit of the Bureau delivered the best results by identifying 1. Morphine-1145 ng/ml; 2. Morphine- 1137 ng/ml and 3. MDMA-1850 ng/ml that qualified to Z-score (one of the statistical assessment criteria) 0.0;0.0; 0.4 volume (Z-score < ± 1 is the best score in such testing).
