ImageIn spring of 2017, Department of Forensic Chemical-Narcology and Unit of Substance, Material, Workmanship and Plants of the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau attained significant success in the interlaboratory testing organized by NEFSI. 
The test offered six types of colored fabric and tasked the participants to identify the fiber nature and identify possible interrelation (interrelated origins). More than 20 World Leading Laboratories took the test. The samples were processed by the participating organizations. Experts of the Levan Samkharauli Bureau were among those with most precise results and the Laboratory gained one of the leading positions among the world laboratories.  
Unit of Substance, Material, Workmanship and Plants of the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau is accredited by ISO17025 and participates in international tests on regular basis. By the demonstrated results, the Bureau maintains the leading positions.
