On April 3, 2017, Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Kvirikashvili, paid a visit to the new building of the Forensic Regional Department of West Georgia and was offered a tour by the Head of the Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau, Gia Tvauri.Minister of Internal Affairs, Giorgi Mghebrishvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Zurab Alavidze, Minister of Energy, Kakhi Kaladze, Governor of Imereti, Givi Chichinadze and other members of the Government also participated in the event.
The new building of the Forensic Regional Department of West Georgia is equipped with ultra-modern laboratories and is represented by highly qualified experts.
The Forensic Regional Department of West Georgia runs Departments of Forensic Psychiatry, Medicine, Histologic, Engineering, Commodity and Financial Expertise. Its Labs perform more than 500 different types of forensic expertise.
In addition to the rich laboratory capacity, the customer service is in line with international standards. The service-center of the Office runs by a one-window principle, and at the same time, customers are also offered a meeting with experts for free consultations.
The regional department serves up to 100 customers per day. System of quality management, introduced in the bureau, is the foundation of the accurate and high quality results -the pre-requisite of the customers’ credibility.
The department employs 41 personnel, whose working conditions are likewise in compliance with international standards. Modern equipment of the Bureau enables its experts to perform quickly and effectively.
