Department of Kiriak Zavryev Construction Mechanics, Seismic Stability and Engineering Department of the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau has successfully completed a patent process for high-strength concrete. Within the framework of science projects of the Shota Rustaveli National Scientific Foundation, experts of the Bureau have been actively participating in the process of developing supplements to the concrete produced in Georgia. The newly structured concrete is outstanding for its strength, reliability and resilience to cracking.
Concrete was developed by new methods and will be actively used in the construction field, including for constructing hydropower stations, bridges, tunnels/subways, airdromes and roads.
At the current stage, lightweight concrete is under the patenting process, which will be completed in 2017. The Bureau continues participating in scientific researches.
