ImageOn December 1, 2016, Head of the Forensic Biology Department, Nino Kochiashvili, participated in the event organized by Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University. The event aimed at supporting development of bio-science and bio-technology fields, deepening cooperation between the University and the Industry, and implementing innovative educational programmes to train highly qualified specialists, including in the directions of food, healthcare, environment and agro-bio-technologies. 
In the framework of the Memorandum signed by the University and the Industry, partner organizations support Tbilisi State University in elaborating BA and MA curriculums, updating the existing material and further strengthening its scientific-research potential, as well as, developing students’ skills and proficiency, increasing competency among students and deepening their knowledge. 
The Bureau was granted particular credits for employing students to increase their proficiency and was granted a title of Best Partner and Employer.
The Forensics Bureau will also be actively engaged in the work of Advisory Council for practical bio-scientific and bio-technology programmes. Head of the Forensic Biology Department, Nino Kochiashvili was selected as the Advisory Council Member.
