On November 4, 2016 LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau marked the Forensics Day. Within the framework of the Forensics Day, that has been turned into an annual tradition, the Bureau awards successful experts.
More than 500 varieties of examinations, accessible tariffs, modern equipment, qualified staff and what’s most important, compliance with International Standard – these are the key principles rooted in the work of the Bureau.
LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau is the only Internationally Accredited Forensics establishment in the region, which performs vast number of significant examinations, including but not limited to DNA, paternity test, genetic research of breast cancer and thrombophilia, construction-engineering examinations, evaluation and forensic examination of commodities, forensic narcology, examination of pharmaceuticals, food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, computer forensics, oil/petroleum and others.
The Bureau successfully carries its operations in the regions of Georgia: Western Georgia (Kutaisi), Ajara (Batumi), Kvemo Kartli, Shida Kartli, Kakheti and Samtskhe Javakheti. The Bureau has been the full-fledged member of the European Network of Forensic Science Institutes (ENFSI) for years already.
