ImageOn September 7-9 of the current year, IT Forensics training was conducted at the Academy of the Ministry of Finance within the framework of the EU financed Twinning project aimed at enhancing capacity of the investigative service of the Ministry of Finance. 
Representatives of the investigative service of the Ministry of Finance, Prosecutor’s Office and LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau participated in the training. 
Among other issues, the training focused on retrieving evidence required by the investigation, forensic examination of switched on computers, forensic examination of mobile phones and recovering deleted files. Training participants had an opportunity to see practical examples. 
Head of the Forensic Information Technologies and Computer Department of the National Forensic Bureau, Roland Makhmudov held a presentation for the participants.  
Training was led by Finnish experts of the National Forensic Bureau of Finland.  Participants were awarded with certificates at the end of the training.
