In February, 2016 Oil Examination Lab of the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau has successfully passed international qualification test, attested by the Certificate of Excellence granted by Institute for Interlaboratory Studies (IIS) of Netherlands. Institute for Interlaboratory Studies is an independent organization, which conducts different types of interlaboratory studies (qualification tests, cross-checking, joint control) for analytical labs of more than 100 participating states.
IIS has provided an unknown sample of hydraulic oil (unprocessed), in which 9 physical-chemical indicators were defined. After the submitted results were examined, Bureau’s Oil Examination Lab received the highest evaluation attested by certificate of excellence, which proves Bureau’s high standards of qualification, and compliance of applied methodology and equipment with the international standards. LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau systematically participates in qualification tests, concluding results of the Bureau are re-examined in leading labs of Europe. For its flawless results, Bureau maintains leading positions.
