ImageLEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau identified bodies of 12 soldiers deceased in Babushera for the territorial integrity of Georgia. 
Identification process of the reburied heroes was launched in 2013 with support of the International Committee of the Red Cross. 
DNA profiles developed in Georgia were further submitted to the DNA laboratory of the Zagreb University, wherein the DNA samples were compared with the DNA profiles of the exhumed bodies. 
12 bodies are currently identified. the funeral ceremony is planned on August 8 at the Brotherhood Cemetery. 
DNA experts of the National Bureau analyzed 1500 DNA samples of the relatives to the missing soldiers and developed 230 DNA profiles, the financial costs of which was covered by the Bureau. 21 bodies are currently identified. 
Identification process of the soldiers deceased in Babushera continues. National Forensic Bureau will be fully engaged in the process until its completion.
