ImageOn November 19, 2014, chief expert of the US Investigative Bureau, Kris Sperry delivered a training for the Forensic Medicine Department of the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau. The training was organized by the US Embassy of Georgia (INL Program).  Interns and residents of the Tbilisi State Medical School participated in the training together with the Bureau experts. 
Training included analysis of the trace-lesion on a body, identification of their period and mechanisms of development. Training participants had an opportunity of analyzing various cases that implied analyzing different kinds of trace-lesions on a body. 
Such trainings are extremely important for sharing experience and capacity building of the Bureau. 
The Bureau plans to continue close cooperation with the US Investigative Bureau and forensic experts in order to contribute to developing necessary skills among young professionals.
