ImageIn July 2014, Food and Tobacco Products, Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Beverages Examination Unit received qualification test results. Experts of the Food laboratory examined three different samples and identified micro-organisms. 
Within the framework of the test, the participating experts of the Bureau also identified five different micro-organisms in a sample of the drinking water and registered their quantity. 
More than 100 laboratories from across the world participated in the given qualification test, which was organized by support of the National Food Agency and Swedish National Food Agency. 
The second stage of the test shall be conducted in autumn of 2014. 
LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau regularly participates in international qualification tests and maintains high accuracy of results. The Bureau operates in compliance with international standards.
