On June 25, 2014, Heads of Forensic Departments of the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau met with the representatives of the Overseas Security Advisory Council of The Diplomatic Security Service of the US Embassy to Georgia.The meeting aimed at sharing information about introduced methodologies and qualifications of the Bureau. Representatives of the Bureau presented modernly equipped laboratories of the Bureau and briefed guests about principles of their operation.
The meeting was initiated by US consulate.
The Bureau is accredited by ISO/IEC 17025 and is the leading forensic institution in the region. It operates more than 400 kinds of expertise and its compliance with international standards is a guarantor of the consistently accurate results.
