On June 19, 2014, Head of the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau, Giorgi Tvauri together with other representatives of the Bureau met with the MA students from diverse Universities of the country. LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau is a leading institution in the region and holds a leading position in certain fields even among Eastern European countries. National Forensics Bureau upholds development process and regularly introduces latest technological and methodological novelties in the forensic field and is a full-fledged member of the European Network of Forensic Science Institutes (ENFSI).
The Bureau prioritizes investing in young professionals, in light of which, at the meeting of June 19, representatives of the Bureau informed the students about the internship opportunity. Interns will have an opportunity to work along with highly qualified experts throughout the year, gain knowledge and develop their professional skills.
Selected young professionals will be trained at the following departments:
• Forensic Criminology
• Forensic Engineering
• Forensic Chemical-Narcotics
• Forensic Biology
• Forensic Commodity and Financial Examination
• Forensic Information Technology and Computer Examination
At the end of the internship, successful interns will be offered employment opportunities at the Bureau.
