In June 2014, Forensic Biology Department of the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau hosted students of the Tbilisi State Medical University. Within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Bureau and the University, the students had an induction tour at the DNA laboratory of the Bureau.
Georgian and foreign students of the Tbilisi State medical University, USMD Program, received training in methods of DNA molecular examination.
National Forensics Bureau regularly cooperates with the Medical University within the framework of the Memorandum and plans to continue the cooperation in the future.
