​On August 14, 2015, Giorgi Tvauri, Head of the LEPL, Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau and the First Deputy Head of the Bureau, Vakhtang Kargareteli, visited Istanbul, Turkey. The visit aimed at learning about the principles of the Turkish Forensic Medicine Council, as well as, methods and standards applied in Turkey. 

​LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau identified bodies of 12 soldiers deceased in Babushera for the territorial integrity of Georgia. 

On July 31, 2015, Janel Kuroda, Officer of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, Office of Europe and Asia paid a visit to the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau and held a meeting with the Deputy Head of the Bureau, Giorgi Murvanidze. 

PH- International invited Nino Kikabidze, Head of the Forensic Medicine Department of the LEPL Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau and Levan Simonishvili, Deputy Head of Forensic Criminalistics Department to participate in the informal education project.
